Buddy Werner South Lake Tahoe is an all volunteer "not for profit" 501(c)(3) corporation (EIN 45-5580136).  The non-profit corporation is run by a board of seven directors who volunteer their time to serve and make Buddy Werner Tahoe a reality for all of our skiers.  A term on the Board of Directors is for two years, however at the end of any given year at least one position on the board is open.  Thus, we are always in need of new volunteers who are passionate about providing ski racing opportunities to the youth who live in or around the Western Sierra Nevada slope and are willing to dedicate their time to making our organization a success. 

The Board of Directors meet once a month, usually at Mountain Mike's Pizza in El Dorado Hills at 6 p.m.  The majority of each meeting is open to the public and we welcome input from all. If you can’t make a Board Meeting, please feel free to pass on any thoughts or comments to our Board members in advance off the meetings, either in person or by email.  Email can always be submitted through [email protected].  

In addition, we need many volunteers each week to serve as coaches, parent sweepers, set the race courses, time and marshal the racers, and serve as a point of contact in the lodge. Jobs are available even if you don’t ski.  Please contact one of the following board members for more information.
